Huerter Basketball Camps takes place at Impact Athletic Center, which is located at 390 NY-146, Halfmoon, NY 12065.
You can drop your child off anytime between 8:30 and 9:00am, and you can pick them up anytime between 12:30 and 1:00pm.
Comfortable athletic clothing, a water bottle, a snack (optional), and in the event of rain/bad weather, a change of shoes. DO NOT bring a basketball, we will supply all basketballs needed.
For the summer of 2026, we are offering three separate sessions of camp: Sessions 1 and 2 are both co-ed. Session 3 is a GIRLS ONLY camp, offered again this year after successful inaugural year in 2025
Kevin plays an active role in the preparation and day-to-day operations for all camps offered.
Huerter Camps will not serve food to campers during camp hours. However, we offer plenty of opportunities for snack and water breaks throughout our camps. Some campers may choose to bring a small snack if they want one. After camp, we invite everyone to eat at the Courtside Grille, which is a limited-service restaurant located within Impact Athletic Center. The Courtside Grille serves a range of tasty and healthy snacks, meals, acai bowls, smoothies, chicken tenders, pizza, sandwiches, soups, etc.
No, we welcome anyone with a positive attitude, a pair of sneakers, and a will to get better. We cater our programming to meet the needs of players of all skill levels.
We aim to have at least 1 coach/counselor for every 5 campers. This is not only to ensure camper safety and security, but to keep campers engaged and on topic, so we can get the most out of our time together.
Yes, parents are welcome to stay in the facility each day to watch your child participate in camp. However, we ask that while camp is going on, you stay out of the court areas, and move to the second floor. Free public wifi is offered in the building for anyone who wishes to work from "home."
